Manastorm: Arena of Legends is a multiplayer action game where it's every man for himself in thrilling 6-on-6 player battle royal matches. Each battle has a group of wizards facing off to emerge victorious, unleashing fireballs, lightning spells and all kinds of runes from the arcane arts.
Game systems in this PvP title are a combo of MOBA-style play and standard Battle Royale action. It's up to you to defeat each rival before they get to you first. Plus, you won't only need to take care not to be slain at the hands of your enemies, you'll also need to stay away from the poisonous mist encroaching on the action arena making it smaller and smaller as the match progresses.
The main similarity that Manastorm: Arena of Legends has in common with MOBAs is its controls. Move around from the left to the right using your battle skills with each of the buttons on-screen. The main appeal in this title is that you choose your character's skills before the start of each game. When you begin, you have a deck of cards (not unlike the ones in Clash Royale) that allow you to balance out each move strategically in order to achieve a winning combo.
In terms of progression, as you win matches throughout the game and level up you'll start gaining new spells to deploy during battle. Not only are there 'attack' cards with basic functions like fire balls, etc, you'll also find survival skills including: healing spells, speed-up booster spells, protection spells and more.
Each match in this mini battle royale game comes with access to objects that'll provide you with a certain advantage. Along with 'mana spheres' scattered around each arena, you'll also be able to pick up boosters that allow you to launch faster attacks against your rival. A key strategic element is simply getting to each power-up before your rivals.
